BRENHAM PD ARRESTS FOUR ON CHARGES INCLUDING THEFT, FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFO

  

Four people were arrested by Brenham police on Thursday.

Quintarus Maurice Jenkins Jr.

Around 11 a.m., Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 290 West and Schulte Boulevard.  After investigation, the driver, 28-year-old Quintarus Jenkins of Houston, was taken into custody for Failure to ID as a Fugitive with Intent to Give False Information, Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information Less Than 5 Items, and two active warrants out of Washington County for Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair and Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information Less Than 5 Items.

Jeremiah Dayton Dean

Close to 11:15 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of Lounge Road.  During the traffic stop, police discovered that the driver of the vehicle, 42-year-old Jeremiah Dayton Dean of Brenham, had two active warrants out of Washington County for Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.  Police also confirmed that the passenger, 22-year-old Michael Dean of Brenham, had an active warrant out of Brenham Municipal Court for No Driver’s License.  Both men were taken to the Washington County Jail and booked in without incident.

Tommy Charles Gooden Jr.

Just before 3:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to a business in the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a theft.  Police state that 59-year-old Tommy Gooden of Brenham allegedly stole an item without paying.  Gooden was placed into custody for Theft of Property Less Than $100 with Previous Convictions.  Gooden also had three active warrants from the Brenham Police Department, including two for Theft of Property Less Than $100 with Previous Convictions and Theft of Property $100 - $750.  Gooden was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
