“Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” came to a close on Saturday with a tribute to the days of the MTV generation.

The Spicolis had crowds dancing in the streets as they paid homage to the 1980s with a range of hits from famous artists of the decade.

Along with the free music, the Stray Katz Car Club had all kinds of classic vehicles on display during its cruise-in on Alamo Street.  Visitors also got to sample craft beers during the Zythological Society of North America’s “Hot Nights, Cold Brews” event.

The summer concert series was hosted by the City of Brenham and Main Street Brenham.  Sponsors for the Spicolis were Strand Associates, Valmont Industries, Budweiser – Mike Hopkins Distributing and Chelsea Build.
