CUBETTES WIN ONE, LOSE TWO AT LEGENDS INVITATIONAL

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team picked up a win and two losses at the Legends Invitational in Bryan on Friday.

Brenham opened the day with a loss to Oak Ridge 2-1. Oak Ridge won the first set 25-16, Brenham came back to win the second set 25-23, but then Oak Ridge took the third set 25-18.

Antyiahna Lang led the Cubettes with 14 kills. Brinley Benson dished out 18 assists. Logan Hayslip finished with 17 digs. Claire Huff chipped in with 11 assists and nine digs.

The Cubettes won their second match of the day as they swept Caldwell in two straight sets, 25-15 and 25-12. Lang had five kills. Hayslip led the defense with 10 digs. Reese Warmke dished out six assists.

Brenham wrapped up the day by losing to Clear Lake 2-0. Clear Lake won the sets 28-26 and 25-17. Stats for the match have not yet been posted.

The Legends Invitational wraps up today (Saturday).
