TWO ASSAULT ARRESTS AMONG FIVE WEEKEND BOOKINGS FOR BRENHAM PD
Brenham police booked five people into jail between Friday and Monday.
Shortly past 7:30 p.m. Friday, Officer Ronnie Jackson initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plate in the 1900 block of West Main Street. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 45-year-old Ryan Dale Davenport of Pflugerville, was placed into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.
On Saturday, at 5:45 p.m., Officer Jackson responded to the 2400 block of Stone Hollow Drive in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, police investigation determined that a woman had reportedly been assaulted multiple times. 21-year-old Deven Jarmal Green of Somerville was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.
Around 9:15 p.m., Corporal Alex Saenz, Officer Trinten Rolling, Officer Gabriel Duran and Sgt. Tiffany Anderson were dispatched to the 2000 block of FM 389 for a disturbance involving a knife. After investigation, 31-year-old Damaris Escorcia of Brenham was taken into custody and booked at the Washington County Jail for Aggravated Assault of a Date, Family or Household Member with a Weapon.
Close to 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Officer Ramon Torres conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of South Day Street. After further investigation, 54-year-old Eliseo Salgado Salgado-Uriostegui of Brenham was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More.
A few minutes after 12:45 p.m. Monday, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 3000 block of Highway 290 East. The driver, 24-year-old Kristen Arcizo of Kingwood, was placed into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams.
