TWO MEN ARRESTED IN GIDDINGS ON DRUG CHARGES
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men on drug charges during the early morning hours on Wednesday.
Sheriff’s Deputies along with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety executed a search warrant at a residence on Louis Lane in Giddings.
29-year-old Adan Alexander Garcia Rodriguez Jr. of Giddings was taken into custody on two counts of Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Greater Than Four Grams, but Less Than 200 Grams.
Also arrested was 31-year-old Omar Alejandro Garcia-Rodriguez of Giddings for one count of Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Greater Than Four Grams, but Less Than 200 Grams.
The controlled substance in question is cocaine.
Lee County Sheriff Garrett Durrenberger said that the arrests are the result of diligent investigative work, and strong, cooperation with their law enforcement partners.
Durrenberger added that the case remains under an active investigation, and no further information can be released at this time.
