“I’m glad to have the win, but we have to perform better and more consistently to be successful long term,” Blinn head coach Alexandria Jackson said. “With that said, I’m glad to have left the pitch with three points (for the win). We now have to regroup and go again on Saturday.”

Sophomore midfielder Allison Bratz got the Bucs on the board first in the 12th minute off an assist from sophomore midfielder Marguerite Funk.

The Eagles knotted the match in the 21st minute.

Sophomore midfielder Genevive Lillard would later come off the bench for Blinn and turn a pair of assists from freshman midfielder Lily Owen and sophomore midfielder Rebecca Madrid into the go-ahead goal in the 65th minute.
