BRENHAM POLICE SEIZE NARCOTICS AFTER SERVING RESIDENTIAL SEARCH WARRANT

A search warrant operation today (Tuesday) at a home in Brenham led to an arrest on multiple drug charges.

The Brenham Police Department reports that its Crime Reduction Unit executed the warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into local street-level narcotics activity.

Investigators say their search led to the recovery of controlled substances in pill form and a firearm, which were both seized as evidence.

18-year-old Sean Padilla of Brenham, identified as a suspect in the investigation, was taken into custody before the search on two active narcotics-related arrest warrants.  He now faces additional charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 (Cocaine), 4-200 Grams; Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 (Alprazolam), Less Than 28 Grams; and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 (THC), 1-4 Grams.

The Brenham Police Department says its investigation is ongoing and that no further information can be released at this time.  It also encourages anyone with information about illicit drug activity to contact the department.
