NAVASOTA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR FAILURE TO ID, TRAFFIC WARRANTS
A Navasota woman was arrested by Brenham police on Monday on a charge of failure to identify, along with several traffic warrants.
At 9 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling initiated a traffic stop near the 2100 block of South Blue Bell Road for speeding.
During the traffic stop and investigation, police say that the driver, 26-year-old Talia Monique Griffin, gave a fictitious name to officers. They also reported that she had four active traffic warrants out of Washington County for No Driver’s License, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Speeding Greater than 10 Percent Over the Limit, and Running a Red Light.
Grifin was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for her warrants and for Failure to Identify Giving False/Fictitious Information. She was booked in without incident.
