FAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES DRUG POSSESSION ARREST

Rachelle Gutierrez (Fayette County Jail)

A reported welfare concern in Fayette County led the arrest of a woman for drug possession.

Deputy Cody Williams was dispatched to Guettermann Ehler Road in the Muldoon community just before 11:30am on Sunday.

Deputy Williams found a female subject, who was later identified as 58-year-old Rachelle Gutierrez of Smithville, that appeared to be passed out in the driver’s seat.

He also said that he observed drug paraphernalia, a loaded needle and clear plastic baggies, in plain view on Gutierrez’s lap.

Williams said that Gutierrez admitted that the needle contained methamphetamine and cocaine.

In addition to that, he alleges that a pipe containing a crystal substance was located on her person.

Gutierrez was arrested and taken the Dan R. Beck Justice Center in La Grange for booking.

She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1/1B Greater Than One Gram, but Less Than Four Grams.
