CUBETTE VOLLEYBALL GETS FIRST DISTRICT WIN OVER HUNTSVILLE

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team picked up their first district win 3-1 over Huntsville last (Tuesday) night at the Brenham High School Gym.

The Cubettes the first two sets 25-23 and 25-9, Huntsville won the third set 25-23, but then Brenham came back to win the fourth set 25-13.

Antyiahna Lang led the offense with 16 kills, while Logan Hayslip led the defense with 22 digs.

With the victory, Brenham is now 21-13 on the season, and 1-3 in district.

Next up, the Cubettes will go on the road Friday night to face A&M Consolidated. First serve is scheduled for 6pm.
