CITY OF BRENHAM ISSUES $932,000 IN SEPTEMBER BUILDING PERMITS
The City of Brenham issued $932,991 worth of building permits during the month of September.

The largest of the 16 permits issued last month went to Bluffview Villas Senior Apartments, located at 2699 Schulte Boulevard. The permit was for $337,449 and went toward adding new asphalt and removing and replacing shingles. Work is contracted to Oden Development Corporation.
The next-largest permit was taken out by Mitch Cooper for $240,567, for the purpose of interior remodeling at a residence on West Main Street.
One new residential permit was issued for $30,000. To date this year, 182 new homes have been permitted for $31,880,578.
September’s building permit totals fall below what was seen in September 2024, which tallied $2,681,557 million on 21 permits.
So far this year, the city has granted 355 permits for $69,265,794, compared to 246 permits for $38,266,195 through September of last year.
