The sixth grade class, taught by Laurie Stegint, recently held a candy, soda, pickle sickle and popcorn fundraiser for Adam’s Angels Ministry, which provides physical, emotional, financial and spiritual support to families with children who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Through the fundraiser, students collected $6,100.68 for Adam’s Angels Ministry.

School administrator Jana Woods joined students in a special chapel ceremony to present a check to Adam’s Angels’ founders and board members.

Woods expressed her pride in the students’ dedication, compassion and spirit of service.  Members of the nonprofit spoke about how gifts like this further its mission of relieving logistical and financial stresses for families, allowing them to prioritize their child’s healing and well-being.
