BLINN VOLLEYBALL DROPS SLIGHTLY, WHILE MEN’S SOCCER MOVES UP IN THE POLLS
The latest NJCAA Polls are out.
The Blinn Buccaneer Volleyball Team dropped from #7 to #9 this week after splitting their games last week. The Bucs were swept by Trinity Valley, who has now moved up to #7, but then came back to beat Navarro 3-1.
Blinn is 34-2 on the season. They are off this week, but will return next Tuesday, October 28, for a Region XIV road game against Wharton. The Bucs then host their Sophomores Night match against Coastal Bend College on Thursday, October 30. Blinn is also hosting this year's Region XIV Volleyball Tournament, which runs November 7-9 at the Kruse Center.
Meanwhile, the Blinn Buccaneer Men's Soccer Team continues their climb in the polls. The Bucs are up to #8 in the county, which is the new best in school history.
Blinn is 12-2-1 on the season after picking up a pair of victories last week over Hill and LSU-Eunice. The win over LSU-Eunice delivered the Bucs their first ever Region XIV South Championship.
Blinn Men's Soccer wraps up the regular season on Friday with a 12:30pm match against Texas Southmost College in Brownsville. Then, it is off to the postseason.
