EARLY VOTING TURNOUT SURPASSES 2,100 THROUGH SEVEN DAYS

  

Over 2,000 people have now voted in Washington County during the two-week early voting period.

According to Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, 403 people came out to vote on Tuesday in the Texas Constitutional Amendment election, with 360 of those also participating for the Brenham ISD ballot measures.

That brings early voting tallies up to 2,131 in total, including 1,969 for Brenham ISD.

Early voting hours at the Washington County Courthouse Annex today (Wednesday) are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The annex will be open for extended hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday.  No voting is available over the weekend.

Election Day is Tuesday.
