TWO ARRESTED IN FAYETTE CO. FOR THEFT OF CATTLE

  

Two men from Robertson County were arrested in Fayette County as part of an investigation into stolen cattle.

Around 3:30 p.m. Monday, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office assisted a special ranger with the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) regarding the theft of three head of livestock.

According to the sheriff’s office, the livestock, which included two Holstein heifers and a Jersey-type Heifer all reportedly stolen from Robertson County, were to be sold at the Flatonia Livestock Auction.

Deputies identified the two suspects in the sales area, and they were both detained. 

19-year-old Davarion Davon Hurst of Franklin and 21-year-old Kevandre Dayshawn Corona of Calvert were charged with Theft of Livestock and taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center. 

The cattle trailer used in the act is being stored at the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office while investigation is ongoing.  Investigation is being led by the TSCRA.
