BURTON VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS WEIMAR TO WIN AREA CHAMPIONSHIP
The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team just keeps right on winning. Last (Tuesday) night, Burton defeated Weimar in a three-set sweep to clinch the Area Round Championship.
The Lady Panthers won the sets 25-19, 25-15, and 25-23.
It was a big night for Laci Broesche, who finished with a triple double. She had 10 kills, 11 digs, and 18 assists to go along with three aces and three blocks.
Her sister, Lexi, finished with 19 kills and nine digs. Adison Harmel dished out 18 assists, had two aces, and added nine digs as well.

Aerynn Huntsman - six kills, three digs
Madalyn Henry - five kills, two blocks
Paige Fritsch - two aces, nine digs
Natalie Hodde - one kill, one ace, one block, and one dig
Amaya Williams - one kill, two blocks
Kinsey Lunbeck - one kill, one block
Next up, Burton will face Agua Dulce in the Region Semifinals. The game is going to be Friday at 5pm at Yoakum High School.
