BARRINGTON LIVING HISTORY FARM TO PRESENT A CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS

The Barrington Living History Farm at Washington on the Brazos State Park is inviting the public to join them for an 1850’s Texan Christmas Experience.

The Candlelight Christmas is being held this Friday and Saturday from 6-8:15pm each night.

Costumed interpreters will bring to life the festivities of the season with musket-fire, music, dancing, and more.

Visitors can step into the home of the last President of the Republic, Dr. Anson Jones, as the family enjoys their Christmas gathering.

You can also visit the plantation’s quarter to hear how the enslaved at Barrington experienced the season.

In addition to that, guests can sip a hot cup of cider, and cozy up to the fire.

General admission tickets are $10.50. Kids five and under get in for free.

Groups of 20 will leave every 15 minutes from the entrance of Barrington Living History Farm.
