BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION, ASSAULT
Brenham police made two arrests on Tuesday and one early this (Wednesday) morning.
Shortly after 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Officer Navone Gurley and Officer Ramon Torres were dispatched for a welfare concern in the 3000 block of South Blue Bell Road. Police arrested 33-year-old David Daniel Dudley of Bellville on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams; Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram; and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3, Less Than 28 Grams.
At 8:30 p.m., Officer LeDarion Jenkins was dispatched to the 1600 block of North Park Street in reference to a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, officers say their investigation revealed that 33-year-old Ryan Carl Kent of Brenham was intoxicated while on location and actively arguing with other individuals. Kent was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Public Intoxication.
Approaching 12:15 a.m. today, Officer Darrell Nunn Jr. was dispatched to the 2000 block of FM 389 for a verbal disturbance that became physical. The ensuing investigation led to the arrest of 32-year-old Alex Tobey of Brenham for Assault by Contact and Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport. Tobey was taken to the Washington County Jail and booked in without further incident.
