CUB BASKETBALL DROPS ROAD GAME TO CROSBY 60-50
The Brenham Cub Basketball Team lost a tough one on the road at Crosby last (Tuesday) night.
The Cubs actually led the game after the first quarter 11-10. However, after that, it was all Crosby the rest of the way.
The Cougars outscored the Cubs 19-16 in the second quarter to take a 29-27 lead at halftime.
Crosby then won the third quarter 13-7, and the fourth quarter 18-16 to secure the win.
Jayden Hebert led Brenham with 12 points and eight rebounds. Roderick Martin added 10 points. Chris Guidry finished with eight points and 11 rebounds.
The loss drops the Cubs to 8-6 on the season.
Next up, Brenham travels to Houston to face Good Vision Academy on Saturday at 1:30pm.
