BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS FOR THEFT, MULTIPLE WARRANTS
Brenham police reported arrests on Wednesday for a range of warrants and for theft charges.
Shortly before 9 p.m., Officer Rosa Salinas conducted a stop for a traffic violation near the 600 block of South Blue Bell Road. The driver was identified as 30-year-old Joseph Samuel Britton of Hutto. Police say a records check revealed that Britton had an active warrant out of Travis County for Criminal Mischief and two warrants out of Brenham Municipal Court for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving While License Invalid. After confirming the warrants, police took Britton into custody. He was booked at the Washington County Jail for the three warrants and for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.
Just past 9:15 p.m., Officer Gabriel Duran responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a reported theft. After further investigation, 19-year-old Makayla Green of Navasota and 18-year-old Temnileyia Tindle of Hearne were placed under arrest for Theft of Property $100 - $750. Green and Tindle were transported to the Washington County Jail.
