CUBETTE GOLF WINS BRENHAM JANUARY INVITATIONAL

The Brenham Cubette Golf Team hosted their January Invitational Tournament on Thursday at the Brenham Country Club.

The Cubettes finished in first place overall with a team score of 353, which was good for 12 strokes ahead of second-place Bryan.

The tournament consisted of 18 teams ranging from 3A-6A. They had a total of 89 individual golfers participating.

Individually, Sophomore Raylea Kunkel was first overall with a score of 73.  Senior Sophia Workman was second on the team with an 82, which was good for third place individually. Sophomore Caroline Sawyer rounded out the top 20 by shooting a 98.

Other Cubette scores included Sophomore Addison Siemsglusz with a 100, and Sophomore Layla Sadler with a 122.
