CUBETTE BASKETBALL KEEPS PLAYOFF HOPES ALIVE WITH A WIN OVER RUDDER

The Brenham Cubette Basketball Team kept their playoff hopes alive with a 60-38 win over Rudder last (Friday) night in Bryan.

Stats have not yet been reported. We will update the story when we receive them.

With the win, the Cubettes are tied with Montgomery for the fourth place in District 17-5A. They are one game behind A&M Consolidated for third place.

Next up, Brenham will wrap up the regular season on Tuesday night at home against Lake Creek at 6:30pm.

It is Seniors Night at the Brenham High School Gym. The outgoing seniors being recognized will be Amirah Byrd, Antyiahna Lang, Carmen McWilliams, Oluwatomike Oruma, and Ja'Laya Pettus.

In other games on Tuesday, Rudder is at Montgomery, and A&M Consolidated is at Huntsville. College Station has a bye.

Brenham needs a win in that final game to have a chance at a playoff spot.
