KWHI CANDIDATES FORUM MAY 13 FOR WASHINGTON CO. PRIMARY RUNOFF RACES
KWHI will host a Candidates Forum next week for the two contested races in the May primary runoff elections in Washington County.
The forum is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30 p.m. at Brenham National Bank. It will feature candidates for county judge and Precinct 2 commissioner.
The county judge’s race has Kirk Hanath and Brad Tegeler vying for the seat of John Durrenberger, who did not file for another term.
For Precinct 2 commissioner, Jim Chisolm and Mark Schonefeld are seeking the position held by Candice Bullock, who is also not running for re-election.
All races are on the Republican ballot. The winners in the runoff will not be opposed in November.
Candidates will answer questions submitted from the audience, news media, and emails sent to mail@kwhi.com.
The forum will be broadcast live on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com, as well as on the KWHI mobile app and the KWHI Facebook page.
