WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET IN REGULAR SESSION ON TUESDAY

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court is scheduled to meet in regular session on Tuesday morning.

The Commissioners are expected to approve a Fireworks Display Agreement with Celestial Displays LLC. The agreement is for the July 4th “Stars Over Washington County” celebration at the Washington County Expo Center. The County will be funding $20,000 in fireworks through Hotel Occupancy Tax funds.

Another action item on the agenda is the approval of a property access agreement between Washington County and Lenora Jean Santana for tree removal on Brandt Road in Precinct 4.

Then, Washington County EXPO Director Harrison Williams will present the EXPO’s quarterly report.

In addition to that, the Commissioners are scheduled to approve a Proclamation naming May 2026 as National Foster Care Awareness Month and expressing Washington County’s support for the Heart Gallery of Central Texas, a program of Partnerships for Children.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets on Tuesday at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.
