CITY OF BRENHAM TO HOST KIDS BIKE RODEO AND SAFETY DAY

  

The City of Brenham is inviting the community out to the Free Kids Bike Rodeo and Safety Day this weekend.

The Bike Rodeo will be from 10am-noon on Saturday in the Blue Bell Aquatic Center Parking Lot. Local youth are encouraged to bring their bikes, scooters, and tricycles. There is going to be an obstacle course for them to ride.

In addition to that, there will be a helmet check and the Pilot Club of Brenham is doing a helmet giveaway while supplies last.

The Brenham Police Department, the Brenham Fire Department, Brenham ISD, the Washington County EMS, and Baylor Scott and White are also going be on hand.

The Brenham Pregnancy Center will be onsite giving away free diapers.

From 12-12:30pm, the event moves to the Aquatic Center Leisure Pool for a Water Safety class, followed by a free swim from 12:30-2pm.

Kids must complete the water safety course in order to take part in the free swim.
