BRENHAM PD MAKES BOOKINGS FOR WARRANTS OF AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT & THEFT, FAMILY ASSAULT
Brenham police made three bookings on Monday on charges including aggravated sexual assault, family assault and organized theft.
Around 10:45 a.m., Officer Rosa Salinas and Officer Navone Gurley conducted a warrant service in the 100 block of East Main Street. The wanted subject was identified as 19-year-old Christian Jaylon-Reassan Nunn of Brenham, who had an outstanding warrant out of Harris County. After the warrant was confirmed, Nunn was taken into custody for Aggravated Sexual Assault and booked into the Washington County Jail.
At 4:30 p.m., Officer Gabriel Duran responded to a disturbance call in the 600 block of Davy Street. After further investigation, 19-year-old Oluwanifemi Oruwa of Brenham was placed into custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member. Oruwa was taken to the Washington County Jail.
Also on Monday, Officer Salinas completed a prisoner transport from the Harris County Jail in reference to a warrant service. Police say 32-year-old Jesus Javier Ortiz of Houston had an active warrant out of the Brenham Police Department for Organized Retail Theft $2,500 - $30,000. Ortiz was taken to the Washington County Jail for his outstanding warrant, along with two other warrants out of McLennan County for Organized Retail Theft $2,500 - $30,000 and Organized Retail Theft $100 - $750.
