KWHI CANDIDATES FORUM WEDNESDAY FOR WASHINGTON CO. PRIMARY RUNOFF RACES

  

KWHI will host a Candidates Forum tonight (Wednesday) for the two contested races in the May primary runoff elections in Washington County.

The forum, featuring the candidates for county judge and Precinct 2 commissioner, begins at 5:30 p.m. at Brenham National Bank. 

In the county judge’s race, Kirk Hanath and Brad Tegeler are running for the seat of John Durrenberger, who did not seek re-election.

For Precinct 2 commissioner, Jim Chisolm and Mark Schonefeld are pursuing the position held by Candice Bullock, who is also not running for another term.

All races are on the Republican ballot.  The winners in the runoff will not be opposed in November.

Candidates will answer questions submitted from the audience, news media, and emails sent to mail@kwhi.com.

KWHI will broadcast the forum live on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.  It will also be streamed on the KWHI mobile app and the KWHI Facebook page.
