SHELBY VFD TO HOLD THEIR 68TH ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
Tickets are on sale now for the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department’s 68th Annual Fundraiser, which is being held this Sunday.
Serving will start at 11am at Harmonie Hall. Plates are available for $15 each, and they can be either dine-in or to-go.
The plates feature barbecue pork and sausage, with potatoes, green beans, and barbecue sauce.
They are also selling barbecue by the pound to-go at a cost of $15 each.
In addition to the meal, there is a live auction at 1pm, and they are selling tickets for a drawing.
Proceeds from the fundraiser are going toward the construction of a new addition to the fire station, and the renovation of the existing facility.
According to the Shelby Volunteer Department, the construction and renovations to the Fire Station is needed to help them protect and serve their neighbors and the community.
