NEARLY 4,000 BALLOTS CAST HEADING INTO FINAL DAY OF EARLY VOTING

  

Today (Friday) is the final day of early voting for the May 26th primary runoff election.

Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson reports that Thursday saw 906 people come out to vote, including 855 Republicans and 51 Democrats. 

Through four days, the county has drawn 3,973 early voters, consisting of 3,796 in the Republican primary and 177 in the Democratic primary.

The Washington County Courthouse Annex will be open today from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Anyone who has not yet voted and does not do so today will need to wait until Election Day on Tuesday and visit their designated polling location.
