SHINER CATHOLIC CHURCH TO HOLD 40TH ANNUAL SPRING PICNIC

The Shiner Catholic Church is inviting the public to their 40th annual Spring Picnic this Sunday.

The Spring Picnic will be at the KC Park at 102 South Avenue G in Shiner.

It begins with the Country Store opening at 8am featuring canned and baked goods, kolaches, and pigs-in-a-blanket.

Lunch will be served beginning at 10:30am. Plates include your choice of three different meats: picnic stew, fried chicken, or country sausage with all the trimmings.

Plates are $15 each, and can be dine-in or to-go.

Later, they will be serving picnic hamburgers throughout the afternoon and evening.

In addition to the food, the Spring Picnic will have free music and dancing in the air-conditioned hall. The music begins with the Tuba Meisters at 11am, the Shiner Hobo Band at 2pm, and the Walburg Boys at 4pm.

There will then be a dance from 9pm-midnight with music by the Emotions.
