BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS AFTER CRASH FOR NO LICENSE, PUBLIC INTOXICATION

  

Two Bellville residents were arrested by Brenham police following a crash early this (Thursday) morning.

Just before 12:45 a.m., Sergeant Jose Perez responded in reference to a crash in the 3500 block of Highway 36 South. 

Upon arrival, police discovered there were four occupants in the vehicle, but two of them had fled the scene.  Both back seat passengers were identified, and the other two occupants were eventually located walking the railroad tracks near Salem Road. 

The subjects were identified as 32-year-old Sterling Thompson III and 23-year-old Deanna Mills.  According to police, both Thompson and Mills were questioned, but neither one admitted to driving the vehicle.

Thompson was placed into custody for an active Brenham Municipal Court warrant for No Driver’s License, while Mills was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.  Both were transported to the Washington County Jail.
