BUDGET WORKSHOPS NEXT WEEK FOR BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL, BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD, WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS
Budget season is kicking into gear next week for several Washington County entities.
The Brenham City Council and Brenham School Board will gather on Monday for separate workshop meetings, while Washington County Commissioners have scheduled workshops starting Monday through the next two weeks.
The Brenham City Council’s meeting on Monday at 8:30 a.m. at Brenham City Hall will go over five-year capital plans for general fund and utility departments. The finance and accounting departments will also provide updates.
The Brenham School Board’s budget workshop on Monday will begin at noon and will be held in the PLC Room at Brenham High School. The meeting will be livestreamed on Brenham ISD’s YouTube channel.
Washington County Commissioners will hold daily general budget workshops and discuss budget-related matters, with some meetings focused on specific offices or departments. The workshops will be held in the court chambers at the Washington County Courthouse starting at 9 a.m., except for Tuesdays, when they will be held after the regular weekly meeting. No workshop will take next Friday, June 5th.
