BRENHAM PD MAKES BOOKINGS FOR TERRORISTIC THREAT, CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WARRANT, DWI
Brenham police arrested four people between Friday and Sunday.
Around 8:45 p.m. Friday, Officer Trinten Rolling responded to the 1500 block of FM 389 in reference to a crash. According to police, investigation revealed that a driver involved was intoxicated. Standardized field sobriety tests were conducted, and results indicated the driver was unable to safely operate a motor vehicle. 39-year-old Matthew Odum of Killeen was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Driving While Intoxicated.
At 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Officer Navone Gurley responded to a weapon-involved situation in the 2000 block of FM 389. After investigation, police reported the arrest of 59-year-old Howard Dwayne Rucks of Brenham for Terroristic Threat Family/Household Member.
Around 9:15 p.m., Officer Darrell Nunn Jr. initiated a traffic stop in the 2200 block of South Market Street. The ensuing investigation resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Hayden Gemberling of Brenham for an outstanding warrant out of Washington County for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, and Possession of Marijuana 2 – 4oz.
Shortly after 10:15 p.m. Sunday, Officer Gurley was dispatched to the 500 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, standardized field sobriety tests were conducted. The driver, 58-year-old Jerry Hall of Brenham, was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated.
