BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH FAMILY ASSAULT, RESISTING ARREST
A Brenham man faces charges of assault and resisting arrest.
Just before midnight on Wednesday, Brenham Police Officer Darrell Nunn Jr. was dispatched to the 700 block of West Second Street.
Police say the response was in reference to a juvenile who called 911 at the mother’s request, after the mother’s boyfriend reportedly refused to leave the residence.
The ensuing investigation resulted in the arrest of 37-year-old Prentiss Phillips for Assault Family Violence with Previous Conviction and Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport. Phillips was taken to the Washington County Jail.
