MIDNIGHT MADNESS STARTS A BUSY WEEK OF ACTIVITIES FOR BRENHAM CUB FOOTBALL
Family, friends, and fans joined the Brenham Cub Football Team during as the clock struck midnight. Midnight Madness, which is the first practice that player can wear full pads and helmets, and participate in full contact drills.
A big crowd turned out to get a sneak peek at the Brenham Cubs for the upcoming season.
The Cubs are coming off their second straight 11-2 season, and looking to build on that.
Midnight Madness was the start of what is going to be a busy week for the Cubs.
Next up is "Meet the Cubs Night", which is coming up this Wednesday at 7pm at Cub Stadium. It is a giant pep rally recognizing the Fall sports teams at both the Brenham Junior High and High School.
On Thursday, the Cubs will have their first and only scrimmage of the season against A&M Consolidated at 7pm at Cub Stadium.
The week wraps up with the Brenham Cub Pre-Football Banquet at the Fireman's Training Center. The doors open at 5:30pm with the meal being served around 6pm.
