44TH ANNUAL BLUE BELL FUN RUN SATURDAY

Thousands of runners are lacing up for tomorrow’s (Saturday) Blue Bell Fun Run.
The 44th annual event, raising funds for Brenham High School athletics, begins at 7:30 a.m. at Brenham High School. Runners can participate in person or virtually for four different races, including a half marathon, 10K, 5K and kids’ 1-mile run.
Fun Run Co-Director Jamie Maurer says the springtime makes for a great backdrop.
Medals will be presented to the top overall male and female runners, as well as the top finishers in each age group. All runners will receive a participation medal, a free t-shirt and a free pint of Blue Bell Ice Cream.
Parking will be at the Washington County Expo. Shuttle buses will take runners to the high school for the event.
