PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING MONDAY
Only a single variance request is on the agenda for Monday’s meeting of the Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission.
Solution Builders is asking the City of Brenham to grant a variance of the required 25 foot setback for property adjacent to an arterial street. Solution Builders owns property at 1303 Simon Avenue, and is requesting the variance to allow only a 15 foot setback. City Engineer Lori Lakatos is recommending the request be approved as it is not out of character for the area, and a 25 foot setback line could be detrimental to development of the property.
The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 5:15 p.m. Monday in the 2nd floor Council Chambers of City Hall.
