DAVID WARNER TALKS ABOUT HIS RUN FOR THE BURTON SCHOOL BOARD
Three people are currently running for the two at-large positions on the Burton School Board. Incumbent Ande Bostain along with David Warner and Tracey Cox are running for a three year term on the board. Incumbent Brian Jaeger is still listed on the ballot, but he resigned from the board in April.
Candidate David Warner, who served on the Burton School Board from 2006 to 2009, talked with KWHI about his plans if elected. He says he is running to represent the interests of the taxpayers, the students and the teachers in the district. He said that enrollment at Burton has increased by 40 percent since he was last on the board and that his focus is academics. He says he wants to look and see what is really needed at the schools:

The Burton School board election is Saturday, May 5th and voting will take place in the Burton High School lobby. KWHI plans to talk with each of the candidates this week, including Jeff Harmel and Ricky Ripple who are running to fill the unexpired term of Ronnie Hohlt.
