BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER TO RE-OPEN SATURDAY

  

Tammy Jaster, Supervisor at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center reports that the construction improvement projects are going well and that hot water is back to functioning in the indoor pools and showers.  They expect to be open again this Saturday with the indoor pools from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and return to their regular hours of operation on Monday.

The Aquatic Center closed on April 23rd for “clean sweep week” and several improvement projects including the installation of a new Pool Pack system to control the temperature and humidity levels in the indoor pool areas.  Construction crews ran into a few unexpected problems last week and it was decided to keep the Aquatic Center closed an additional week for the projects to be completed.    Jaster said that construction crews will still be onsite finishing up projects for the next couple of weeks, but should not interfere with the pools or swim times.
