FUNERAL SERVICES SCHEDULED FOR BLINN PROFESSOR DR. CHARLES HELLER

  

Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for former Blinn professor Dr. Charles Heller, who died Tuesday.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m., at Christ Lutheran Church, with interment following at Prairie Lea Cemetery.  Visitation will be tomorrow (Friday) from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Heller began his career at Blinn in 1972, teaching chemistry, and would later become the head of the Natural Sciences Department.  He served on Blinn’s Board of Trustees from 1984-92, and he also served on the Faculty Senate before retiring in 2014.

The Charles Heller Research Fund has helped the quality of education for Blinn students, and raised funds to start major construction projects across Blinn’s campuses.

Services are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, at 2300 Stringer Street.
