SOMERVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT FUNDRAISER SUNDAY
Somerville’s Volunteer Fire Department is hosting its 44th annual barbecue fundraiser this Sunday.
Meals will be served at St. Ann Catholic Church in Somerville, with plates of barbecue chicken and sausage. Patrick Mantey, with the volunteer fire department, says there will also be an auction, starting at noon.
Mantey says all the proceeds will go straight to the department, to help with costs and training.
The fire department will serve plates from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Plates are $10 per person, or by the pound. For more information, call 979-596-1168.
