NO REPORTED INJURIES IN NOON-HOUR ACCIDENT AT NORTH PARK-MLK INTERSECTION
Lunch hour traffic in Brenham was briefly held up this (Monday) afternoon after a two-vehicle accident near downtown.
The accident occurred just before 1 p.m. at the intersection of North Park Street and Martin Luther King Junior Parkway, right by the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.
Authorities at the scene said a Ford SUV headed southbound on Park Street ran a red light and collided with an Audi SUV.
No one at the scene was transported for injuries.
Traffic at the intersection was slowed for a short time as officials worked the scene and provided cleanup.
