LOCAL BUSINESSES, ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDED IN LATEST PHASE OF BRAZOS VALLEY COVID-19 RELIEF FUNDING; OVER $1 MILLION GRANTED
Several Washington County nonprofit organizations and small businesses have received assistance in the latest round of funding from the Brazos Valley COVID-19 Community Relief Fund.
 For Phase III, Round I of funding, $307,048 has been granted to seven nonprofits for programs to help Brazos Valley residents, and 33 small businesses to assist with payroll or rent.  Those include Faith Mission and Help Center, Inc., the Bridge Ministry of Burton, and Must Be Heaven.  The full list of Phase III, Round I grant recipients can be seen below.

The review committee will continue to review applications and make additional funding decisions until all funds raised have been dispersed. Grant recipients are being contacted via email with further instructions on claiming their grant funds.
Tuesday, the fund announced it has granted $1,038,078 to 12 nonprofits and 92 small businesses in the Brazos Valley impacted by COVID-19 response and containment efforts. Of the funds awarded thus far, $429,660 are from the City of Bryan’s 1:1 match. So far, the fund has raised $1,125,549 through local businesses and philanthropic donors.
This grant funding is designed to help existing nonprofits and small businesses; therefore, individuals are not eligible to receive assistance from this fund.
