BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANT/DRUG CHARGES

A Brenham man has been arrested on a warrant after a traffic stop, Wednesday afternoon.
Just before 4:00 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 290 West.
An investigation showed the driver, 32-year old Christopher Hartnell of Brenham had an active warrant for Burglary of a Habitation.
Police say a search also turned up methamphetamine.
Hartnell was taken into custody on the outstanding warrant and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
