Saturday was the first day of livestock judging, featuring the Rabbit, Colt, Scramble Heifer, and Ag Mechanics Shows. Click here to view livestock judging results from over the weekend.  The results from Sunday’s Carcass Hog Shows will be released Wednesday.

Today, lambs and goats will conclude weigh-in at 8 a.m., with the lamb show at 1 p.m. and the goat show at 3 p.m.  Steers will arrive by 4 p.m., and steer classification and weight cards will be due by 5 p.m.  Craig Montana and KTEX-106’s Blake Hickerson will both be broadcasting live from the fairgrounds this afternoon.

Livestock judging will continue throughout the week using a spread-out schedule to limit the number of exhibitors and spectators at the fairgrounds at any given time.  A majority of animals will be taken home from the fairgrounds after their shows and brought back after their sale.

The Junior Livestock Auction is set for Friday at 2 p.m., and will be held at Silver Wings Ballroom to allow for extra space for social distancing and a new virtual element.  The Washington County Fair website will link to the Cattle in Motion website for those who wish to participate in the shows and sales virtually.
