All the winners will be invited to fish at the KIDFISH CLASSIC tournament next summer, where they will have the opportunity to win scholarships for themselves and the schools they attend.
Other activities included fishing with local first responders, opportunities for boy scouts and girl scouts to earn badges, a fish-themed photo area, fall bowling, a ball toss, slingshot practice, and an inflatable obstacle course in the indoor competition pool.
Event organizers thank this year’s KIDFISH sponsors: Blue Bell Creameries, Tegeler Toyota, Bank of Brenham, Bluebonnet Electric, Max Donuts, Kountry Boys Sausage and the City of Brenham. They also thank the Brenham Anglers, Citizens on Patrol, the Brenham Police and Fire Departments, and Washington County EMS for coming out to volunteer and teach local youth the sport of fishing.
KTEX-106’s Trail Boss Troy joined in on the fun at the aquatic center.
