NAVASOTA POLICE FIND MAN DEAD BEHIND RESTAURANT

  

Police in Navasota discovered the body of a local man behind a restaurant Saturday afternoon.

According to Police Chief Shawn Myatt, the police department received a report around 2 p.m. of an unconscious person in the parking lot of the Dairy Queen in the 700 block of East Washington Avenue.

When officers and EMS personnel arrived, they found the man, identified as 33-year-old David Stolz of Navasota, dead at the scene.

Myatt said the department has ruled out the possibility of foul play, and has sent off for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
