BURTON FFA LIVESTOCK JUDGING TEAM PLACES SECOND AT NATIONAL COMPETITION

The Burton FFA Livestock Judging Team walked the stage in Indianapolis Thursday night as one of the best livestock judging teams in the nation.
The team of Chet Fritsch, Waylon Hinze, Weston Hinze and Tanna Thiel finished second place at the 94th National FFA Convention and Expo’s Livestock Contest, earning the title of Reserve National Champion.
The team was recognized during the third general session of the convention at Lucas Oil Stadium. It advanced to the national competition after placing first at the Texas State FFA Livestock Competition in April at the Brazos County Expo Center.
The team is coached and advised by Nicholas Herr and Jessica Teufel.
