CALDWELL ISD AND HEALTHPOINT TEAMING UP FOR NEW ON-CAMPUS CLINIC

  

The Caldwell Intermediate School will soon be getting their own on-campus clinic thanks to a new telehealth partnership between Caldwell ISD and HealthPoint.

The clinic will offer telehealth acute care visits, sports physicals, and general child wellness checkups.

It will be open during school hours on the Caldwell Intermediate School campus, which is located at 765 County Road 330.

The clinic will be open to students, faculty, and staff.

Parents and legal guardians will be given the option to take part in their child’s visit via telephone or video conferencing.

All major insurance carriers will be accepted including CHIP, Medicaid, and Medicare.

Their services are also being offered on a sliding fee scale for those that do not have insurance.

According to the CDC, since the pandemic began, over seven million kids have missed 15 days of school or more.

The hope is that with on-campus clinics like this one, it will cut down on the days missed, and help keep children in their classrooms.
