A $700,000 permit was issued to Barger Construction Company for interior remodeling at 2608 Highway 36 South, the former location of Casa Olé, to serve as the new home of Integrity Urgent Care.

According to Integrity’s website, the clinic will offer treatment for a variety of non-life threatening injuries and illnesses.  It will also provide occupational medicine, sports medicine, STI screening and treatment, lab testing, diagnostic testing and on-site imaging.

Jessica Van Meter, Director of Operations for Integrity’s Texas facilities, said they hope to open in Brenham at the end of October.

Thirteen new homes were permitted in July for $1,588,233.  Through 2023 so far, 74 new homes have been permitted for $9,729,436.

During the month of July, the city issued 37 permits for $3,379,539.  In comparison, July 2022 had 23 permits for $856,377.

For the year to this point, 230 permits have been issued for $23,895,535.  That is down from this time a year ago, when 246 permits had been taken out for $31,936,972.
